Microblading
We all know the importance of good eyebrows and how they massively frame our faces. Not having them can be challenging as we try to draw and fill them in the best we can. Microblading is one of the most popular ways to fill, thicken and enhance your arches.
Microblading is one of the latest beauty trends, however you may not of heard what it actually entails.
Microblading is a new and updated version of semi permanent make up, using ultra fine blades to insert pigment into the skin leaving a very realistic hair stroke effect through the brow.
The effects can last around 1 year depending on skin type and how the brows are looked after i.e. too much sun exposure or using vitamin a/retinol, acids and skin peels over the brow area will lighten them.
The results are very natural and life like giving the brows a fuller thicker look.
What does the Microblading aftercare entail?
For the first 2 weeks after the treatment it is very important not to get the brows wet whilst the healing process takes place. No sweating or over heating, saunas or sun exposure.
A cream will be provided to apply twice daily for 2 weeks and the brows will begin to scab over during this time. They will be dark to begin with and will fade by 70%.
How much does Microblading cost?
Microblading costs £350 which will include the 5-8 week top up needed to go over the existing hair strokes and add in any more that are needed.
Top-up (up to 14 months after initial treatment if done with Tamara) costs £200
A consultation is needed prior which will include a patch test.
